Billy Boats Lefkada ("we", "our", "us") is a boat rental operator based in Lefkada, Greece. We are the data controller for any personal information collected through this website.

• Your first name, last name, email, and phone number, submitted via our enquiry forms.
• Booking preferences you share with us: preferred dates, number of guests, boat choice, skipper preference, pickup location, watersports preference, and any free-text message.
• Aggregated, anonymous page-visit data via Vercel Analytics (no cookies, no personal identifiers, see the cookies section below).
• For active rentals only: GPS location and speed data from the boat or jet ski you have rented (see the GPS tracking section below).

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a booking.
• To send you booking confirmations and trip information.
• To improve our website (aggregated, anonymous analytics only).

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for marketing without your explicit consent.

Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months so we can follow up on returning customers. You may ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your data is accessed by Billy Boats Lefkada and our service providers strictly to deliver the service:

• Hosting and email infrastructure (Vercel, Resend).
• Messaging providers if you contact us via WhatsApp, Instagram or TikTok, those services have their own privacy policies.

We never share your data with third-party advertisers.

We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. It provides anonymised, aggregated data about how visitors use our site.

Every boat and jet ski in our fleet is fitted with a GPS tracker. During an active rental we receive the vessel's location and speed data in real time. This is used strictly for:

• Your safety and the safety of other vessels, if you are in difficulty we can reach you faster.
• Protecting the vessel from theft or unauthorised use.
• Verifying the rental was operated within the agreed cruising area and within the legal speed limits.

GPS data from your rental is retained for up to 90 days after the rental ends and is then deleted, except where we are legally required to retain it longer (e.g. in case of an incident). GPS data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose other than the ones listed above.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. All data transmitted through our contact form is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

This website contains links to third-party platforms such as Google Maps, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal data.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page indicates the most recent revision.
