Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to any booking, enquiry, or use of services provided by Billy Boats Lefkada ("we", "our", "us") in Lefkada, Greece. By submitting a booking enquiry or accepting a booking, you agree to these terms.

Forms submitted through this website are booking enquiries only. A booking is not confirmed until we reply confirming availability, price, and pickup arrangements, and you confirm acceptance.

• A deposit is required to confirm self-drive rentals. The exact amount is communicated when we confirm availability.
• The remaining balance is payable at the start of the rental in cash, by card, or by bank transfer.
• The deposit is refunded at the end of the rental if the boat is returned in the condition it was hired in.

• The renter must be at least 21 years of age.
• Self-drive rentals require a valid Greek or EU power-boat license, held for at least one year. The Mazziena 26SP is available with a skipper only.
• The jet ski requires a valid PWC licence and is self-drive only.
• A valid credit card and government-issued ID are required for pre-authorisation and identification.

• The renter is responsible for safe operation of the vessel and the safety of all passengers on board.
• Maximum passenger capacity, the agreed cruising area, and Greek maritime regulations must be respected at all times.
• Operating the vessel under the influence of alcohol or any substance impairing your ability is strictly prohibited.
• Sub-letting, racing, towing, or commercial use of the vessel is not permitted.

For safety and security, every boat and jet ski in our fleet is equipped with a GPS tracker that records location and speed in real time during your rental. By accepting these terms you acknowledge and consent to this tracking.

GPS data is used only to (a) assist you in case of emergency, (b) protect the vessel from theft or unauthorised use, and (c) verify the rental was operated within the agreed cruising area and the legal speed limits. For full details see our Privacy Policy.

• The boat must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, at the agreed time and location.
• The renter is liable for damage caused by negligence, improper use, or breach of these terms. The optional daily damage-waiver fee reduces but does not eliminate this liability.
• In case of accident, the renter must notify us immediately and the port police where required, and provide a full report.
• Traffic violations, fines, and any costs caused by the renter remain the renter's responsibility.

• Cancellations more than 7 days before the rental: full refund of deposit.
• Cancellations between 7 days and 24 hours before: 50% refund of deposit.
• No-show or cancellation within 24 hours of the rental: deposit retained.
• In case of unsafe weather, port authority restrictions, or force majeure, we will offer a re-booking on a future date or a full refund.

Fuel is not included in the rental price unless otherwise stated. The renter pays for the fuel used during the rental. For pickup from locations other than our base, fuel from the base to the pickup location is charged at standard rates.

Watersports gear, welcome basket and any additional services are subject to availability. The welcome basket is included with every booking. Pricing for paid extras, where applicable, is communicated at the time of booking.

Billy Boats Lefkada is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, lost profits, or any losses arising from events outside our reasonable control, including weather, authority restrictions, third-party actions, or your own conduct. Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the rental fee paid for the affected booking.

These terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be brought before the competent courts of Lefkada, Greece.
